Wow what a beautiful fire!
This fire is absolutely beautiful. Amazing quality finish and very sturdy. The adjustable LED flame effect is wonderful and extremely realistic, and the two heat settings with thermostat make it very versatile. It even blows cold! The remote control makes it perfect if you've got comfy and don't want to get up. The fire itself is solid with the door opening to make it look even more realistic. The magnetic closure on the door is very secure. Absolutely love this product, and unlike a lot of the models we looked at its larger size fits our fireplace nicely. Great value for money. Easy convenient extra heating.
So simple to use and has a remote control. Sits well in fireplace alcove. Gives a good amount of heat . Two heat settings to save on costs. Or if you just want the lighted effect then as cheap as lightbulb. The flame effect can also be adjusted between low med and high. Around very nice fire especially having got with a discount. A hot product
This fire was purchased to replace a 'flame vapour effect fire' from a well known UK manufacturer who insists on selling spares at grossly inflated prices rendering the heater in-economic to run. So this replacement Galleon CASTOR electric heater ( used in our snug) is just that, a two stage blower heater with a very realistic flame effect (can be run without heat or blower). No routine maintenance - simply remove from box and plug in - if needed understandable instructions supplied. We also have an inset wood burner in our lounge used in the winter but for 'effect' in the summer we shall simply stand the CASTOR in front on the hearth for it looks that real.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
